VARSITY 2026: GREEN & WHITE ARMY, PREPARE FOR BATTLE

Varsity 2026 is coming.... and it’s time for the Green & White Army to rise. The biggest event in the Swansea sporting calendar is officially back, and tickets launch at 12pm Monday 22nd January. 

Open to all students ,whether you’re part of a sports team, society, academic rep, or simply here for the atmosphere , Varsity is the one event that unites the entire student body like no other. General release tickets will be available from Wednesday 27th with sports member ticket going on as priority access from 26th January, so make sure you’re ready.

The Welsh Varsity is the largest Varsity event in the counrty standing proudly as a true festival of sport, rivalry, and student culture. Each year, Swansea University and Cardiff University go head-to-head in an unforgettable showdown, competing across 50+ fixtures in a huge range of sports. From high-intensity team games to individual battles of skill and endurance, every point counts toward the ultimate prize: the Welsh Varsity Shield.

But Varsity is about more than just results. It’s about the electric atmosphere that takes over the city. The roar of the crowd. The sea of green and white in the stands.
