Description: We've timed the trip to Tewkesbury so that we are there when their Medival Festival is on! It's free entry and is regarded as the largest free medieval gathering of its kind in Europe, attracting re-enactors, traders, entertainers, and visitors from all over the world. Its central feature is a spectacular re-enactment of the Battle of Tewkesbury on part of the site of the original battle of 1471. Why not pop along to join in the the fun whilst we are there. If this isn't what you fancy, you can also look around Tewkesbury Abbey or the John Moore Museum!
We’re not able to provide a ‘guided tour’ so we suggest making some plans for your time there before you go. We are also hosting a Meet-Up Mixer for those of you who are coming along – this is a chance to meet others coming along and possibly plan some things to do together.
Please be aware that for some of the attractions, you will have to pre-book your tickets.
We hope you'll come along on this enjoyable day away!
